Burning out of control
Sometimes we take actions that we regret later because we burn out of control due to an overwhelming amount of stress and frustration that we feel when we are struggling or exhausted, thereby causing us to react indifferently and absurdly, but later realize it when it is late. In this article, I will clarify how to manage and understand the way to react positively when you are burning out of control.
Mr. Adams was the CEO of Dover Energy Company. A young man who works so hard to be successful in all aspects, he puts so much energy into making his workers look outstanding in every work given to them and always supports his employees to succeed together…if you ask me, I will say!! That is an extent a boss can go to assist his employees, so Mr. Adams was a very strong man, and his personality was top-notch, but there was one thing he was lacking, which was his biggest weakness: each time he got back from work, tired and frustrated, he could display his drama on his maid, who always tried everything possible to meet his needs, though he was a good and loving man, but he reacted out of control when he was burning in a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive prolonged stress from work. He drove in that night after a presentation from a contract he was ambitious to sign; this contract is worth about 200 billion dollars. So he tried by all means to meet its obligations and standards so as to meet up with all the requirements, and he would have nothing to lose; his desires were to acquire it by all possible odds without being left out. After a successful presentation he gave in the meeting, he was confident enough that the contract was sealed already. Mr. Adams is a very intelligent, smart man, so why would any company not sign any contract besides his company being the biggest in town and everyone wishing to work and partner with him so it was easier for him to hope for that!! Until after his presentation, the whole board of directors was astonished at his presentation. So they decided to give him the contract after signing a whole lot of documents, and one important document was vital to sign but was missing. They searched all around the office but couldn’t find it, which he later called for his secretary because he believed he packed all the documents safe and secure to his secretary before leaving his house to the office. The secretary couldn’t do anything; the document was nowhere to be found, and after so many hours spent searching for the document, there was no way of retrieval, which made the directors get disappointed that he couldn’t handle the contract. “I’m sorry, Mr. Adams, this contract can’t be given to you! You can’t secure a little document. How sure are we you can secure this contract if given to you? But we are sorry, the Enzo’s Limited African can’t work with a nonchalant, incompetent, and careless person. Thanks, we bet to take our leave.” They left at once, and Mr. Adams tried convincing them, but to no avail. He was so angry and frustrated after the effort he put in to make this deal happen; he was burning out of anger, and nobody could do anything to help him at that state, which led him to want to sack all his employees for not being competent enough… So when he came back that night, he couldn’t help but drink to stupor, and his helpless maid was scared to get close to him, talk more of asking him for anything because of his state of mind. She decided to summon courage to meet him, only for her to see her boss crying like a baby. She was confused at what to do, if she should let him deal with his feelings or if she could help him stop drinking and crying. So she later decided to go to him, but something unexpected happened!! Mr. Adams wasn’t in a good state of mind, and he wanted to be alone at that moment, but since he didn’t say it to his maid, she didn’t know if coming close to him would warrant what happened to her. Mr. Adams, out of anger and sadness, hit the bottle of alcohol he was taking at his maid and shouted, “Stupid employees.“ He didn’t know his maid was dead as a result of that incident, but he was too drunk to realize until the next day when he woke up in the morning and saw the lying woman there. His pallor was filled with blood; he shouted and yelled at what happened to him and what he did to himself. He then called the police and surrendered himself to the murder and was charged to court, but with his power and influence, the court charged him fewer years; perhaps he was drunk and was out of his state of mind. But he regretted his actions because he was burning out of control and couldn’t control his emotions, and today Mr. Adams is now an ex-convict who is going around teaching people never to react and allow their anger to rule over them.
Never react when you are angry because burnout can stem various forms of depression which can cause damages that cannot be undone.
Forms that can cause burning out of control….
1: Work stress: giving yourself non stop from uploading work files can cause mental and physical exhaustion which can lead to depression and confusion especially trying to meet up work deadlines can trigger burnout.
2: Anxiety rating at things much expected to happen, but unattainable goals can impose inadequate personal anxieties that can cause burning out of control.
3: Unappreciated—Being in an environment where you are not comfortable and not appreciated can affect the mental and psychological health stability, especially working with a parasite boss, negative friends, toxic relationships, and family members who don’t applaud your efforts can cause burnout control.
4: Over thinking- Thinking much on task to be handled and controlled but not meeting your goals or having undesired good environment can affect you mentally while thinking of things to be sorted out but yet none seems to be working can increase burnout of control.
5: Inappropriate words—A lot of people get frustrated when inappropriate words or comments are being used on them; it makes them feel less and uncomfortable, whereby they react negatively and uncontrollably, which can possibly generate burnout.
6: Lack of sleep—Lack of sleep is the biggest problematic mental health condition that can cause the brain to react badly if care and measures are not taken properly, which can lead to depression and anxiety in many cases.
7: Lack of social support- A lot of people loose their trust and focused when they are lacking social support in whatever they are doing, they feel insecure that the society doesn’t care about them. They feel empty when not given attention and can cause some to commit suicide due to lack of social support,been entitled to their own lives alone can generate burnout control.
8: unbalanced diet- having unbalanced diet has triggers a lots of families into starvation because they are hungry and unable to afford a proper and adequate meal that can boost and improve their immune systems it can cause burnout.
9: Financial instability—brokenness and lack of financial resources can make one traumatized because you feel you can’t get yourself what you need and thereby become an obstacle to yourself by forcing yourself into debt and taking dreadful decisions that can give you funds by all means, which can lead to regrets and burnout of control.
10: Unhealthy lifestyle—This aspect is about people with unhealthy lives feeling drained by sickness without hope of getting better. They feel unaware of their health issues and lack self-worth and happiness, which can make them insecure about what is next to happen, and that can cause burnout or control.
11: Deteriorated habits—This is a dangerous habit that can cause depression. where you feel you have lost control of the beautiful things that give you joy and that routine of life that’s best unavoidable, but yet you can have control of them because you are unrealized at what you have changed into that can’t help but destroy you by these habits you get burnout of control.
12: Bad work environment—polluted work environments can destroy one’s productivity and ambition, especially when you have intruders or snitches that can’t help but stress and make you feel worthless, which can lead to burning out of control.
13: Pile of responsibilities—A lot of people feel guilty and can’t help when they have lots of responsibilities choking them but yet can’t do anything, e.g., family billing, house rent, electricity bills, schooling bills, food bills, social services bills, etc. All this responsibility can make one go out of their mind because they are choked up with expenses and can’t control burnout.
14: Unhealthy relationship—A lot of men and women burn out of control because of unhealthy relationships that are so toxic to maintain and lose balance of mental and emotional health because their partners are disoriented in one way or the other with lots of negative energy that is harmful to our psychological health, which can cause depression and burnout.

15: Learn to give out more and receive less. Engage in conventional business and strategic orientated goals meeting that can bring smiles and encouragement to people around you.
16: Control your anger no matter the situation you find yourself in; deal with it diligently with understanding and maturity so as to live a healthy and stable life.
17: Act wisely and talk less. And believe that everything is possible with God; the mind knows where the body lies, so don’t stress for what doesn’t exist.
